People I urge you not to vote for this person … for what he has done to two young peoples lives is just a travesty. He should be ashamed of himself and opt not to run this year. Yamhill deserves better than someone who just jumps to conclusions and makes assumptions just to push his own agenda.

Amen suapont. Such an abuse to power with these young boys is unacceptable to our county and community, he is just as much a menace as the criminals he seeks to prosecute. When those that seek to protect our society become a danger to that society, we have nothing to guard ourselves with. He should be disbarred immediately. He is a law unto himself.

Well, you are 0 for 2 so far. Yes the whole felony charges against two middle school boys was by far to severe. If you have a daughter I highly doubt you would want boys sexually harassing them (mind you, there was more than “butt slapping” going on in the halls). My question is what are the middle school administrators thinking by having butt slapping day? Are we that rural a town that we have to give our kids a free pass to act like po-dunk punks? Here is a revelation for you… kids get carried away, don’t give them a reason to start down a path that probably won’t lead them in the right direction. As for Brad Berry, he has spent the last three terms (12 years) building safe communities and prosecuting high and low profile cases against a long list of scumbags that have commited crimes against Yamhill County communities. Don’t burn the guy at the stake because he initially took the girls point of view, wanted to stand up for those he thought needed protecting and took it to far. He made a (big) mistake, most likely learned from it and reduced the charges as he should have.
